Roll With Me & I’ll Be Your Pleasure

LA Riots‘ regular Fall and spring mixes have been some of my most played mixes this and last year. So it’s no surprise that they’ve come clean with a new ‘Summer 2010’ mix, packed with lots of seasonal favourites and some new upcoming material from the guys themselves. This includes a new track ‘Control Your Tuba’, which is set to release on a new Fool’s Gold Compilation LP out sometime this fall, and a remix of ‘The Drop’ by TJR which could well be one of their most anticipated tracks to date. Make a mojito, drive to the nearest beach you can and boogie down. That may prove difficult for some but I don’t even know.

Another mix thats just hit the world wide web is a mix titled ‘Different Circles’ by Mumdance, showcasing 17 of his upcoming new tracks and productions spanning a whole array of genres from Baltimore, 1980’s synth pop, tribal guarachero, kerplunk and baeleric-tingled minimal techno; a mouthful of genres thats for sure. The mix features an extensive amount of vocalists and collaborations from the likes of Esser, Trim. Jammer, Mc Sparks, Kie, Badness, Boy Better Know, Drums of Death, Shortstuff, Brackles, Toy Selectah and AC Slater. With a release on Mad Decent forthcoming on August 23rd and other releases out on labels such as Trouble & Bass, No Hats No Hoods and Big Dada this is a Mum that has most certainly been keeping busy.
