OUT ONE – FOGGY ROAD (320 kbps)

The Parisian Out One came to our attention when he appeared on one of Teki Latex’s recent playlists. Romain, an old friend of Institubes, previously worked for aforementioned label and mixed their “Vitamin House” release a couple of years ago, which had listeners experiencing exactly what its apt name suggested – a shot of accellerated French touch tracks mixed together neatly into one powerful package. He also crafted an enjoyable mix for our friends over at Fluokids in those days. Out One has been riding the streets of Paris for a quite some time now and has meanwhile become a stable DJ. Production-wise this track is the first one he’s bringing to light after some overextended digital silence. Foggy Road is a castle builder that is capable of taking you to oriental and faraway places but does this in a refreshing way: in the sense that it doesn’t ride along the wave of recent tribal overdoses in a humdrum way, but in a gracious and subtle manner instead. Here’s to a potential and promising future!
