While a lot of you may be out taking advantage of special Record Store Day releases (and if you aren’t – hop to it!), we wanted to make sure this digital release didn’t get overlooked. American label/creative collective/purveyors of bass Astro Nautico put out a very generous compilation yesterday for free download, all in the name of summer vibes and continuing to be forward-thinking and game-changing. The 43(!)-track compilation, called “Atlantics Vol. 2,” features cuts from Astro Nautico’s founders Obey City, Paul Jones, and Kuhn, as well as contributions from friends like MORRI$, Baauer (who recently had two tracks featured in Rustie’s Essential mix), Time Wharp, Spaceghost and Quam.
