Think we all need to apologise for the slight absence the last 4 days and missing Sundays Best again but lots of new stuff and interviews should be all coming this week. With so much talent popping up everywhere at the moment it isn’t a surprise that new, promising labels are popping up too. London based producer Raffertie follows up with the second release on his new label Super, with a track from Manchester born Taylor, who actually funny enough co runs the Nottingham based imprint Wigflex too, which houses an array of up and coming artists such as Shortstuff and Hizatron. The track from Taylor titled CMB is a good one to start off with on this Monday morning, where releases seem to be pouring through from all angles. Rhythmically soothing with an array of atmospheric and intricate synth arrangements help drive this forward in such a manner that the seven minute in length track just seems to fly by. Remixes come from Night Slugs man of the moment Girl Unit, Rekordah and Super label head Raffertie all of which are highly essential but Girl Unit’s version just takes it as my pick of the bunch. As a little bonus Taylor has decided to give out a little refix of his track ‘Flux’ but be sure to check out the whole EP here if this sounds up your street!
