Now we here at Truants are massive fans of Italian producer NT89 and have been following him for quite a while. The mix he did for TRUANTS was nothing short of amazing, choosing to take a more laid back approach with track selection instead of a mix for the club. He’s seen huge success through the release of two EPs, especially with his PUMPIN EP which co produced with fellow producer Distrakt, sold out in a couple of days. I’m still kicking myself now for missing out on a copy. The man’s been busy and he’s recently finished his new EP titled Dooma which is out now on Southern Fried Records and has been getting huge support and great feedback from the likes Claude Von Stroke, Laurent Garnier and the Bloody Beetroots. Now I don’t know about you but pleasing both Claude Von Stroke and the Bloody Beetroots is not mean feat especially considering how different they are in styles. To celebrate the release he recorded a colossal one hour mix filled with unreleased tracks from artists such as Highbloo, Lorcan Mak and Dem Slackers.
