Main Attrakionz are a hip-hop duo hailing from Oakland that have been active since their Middle School days and consist of the very talented MondreM.A.N and Squadda B. The self proclaimed “best duo ever” have been on constant rotation since I came across the video for ‘Legion Of Doom‘ a few months ago. The beat on the track along with countless others of theirs are sheer perfection, most of this praise has to be levelled at Squadda B as he is the charged with these duties in the duo for the most part. His talents aren’t only utilised by MA though, he has also made beats for others including our #based patron Lil B. When I listen to the beats on their tracks I’m genuinely flawed by how good they are. Also the quality of the verses also drew me to MondreMAN and Squadda along with the character and individuality in their voices which flows with an effortlessness that is not often found these days. To my delight I soon realised that quality ran through the majority of their other output and considering the amount of music they’ve been releasing over such a short period of time, even going off internet timescalez it’s definitely a compliment. Lets hope 2011 is just as productive.
