Nehuen for You

With all this all this terribly cold weather we’ve been blighted with recently I found time to dig into the crates that are the internet. I happened to pull out one hell of a gem in Nehuen‘s Let It Go EP which was released through Barcelona’s ever impressive Disboot label; and that wasn’t all I found from the Argentinian born producer.

Nehuen moved from Argentina to Barcelona in 2005 and since then he’s made giant strides in the quality of his music production, in the past year alone his output has been nothing short of brilliant. Never restricting his talents to one particular genre within club music, despite this he has perhaps found most success by lending his sound to Garage and UK Funky movements in particular. Highlights coming from the for-mentioned Let It Go and Tropicalia EPs, but crowning moment of his year for me has to be the magnificent Time After Time which steals the show on the DubKraft’s Adult Bass Music Vol.1, everything about it oozes class and paints a clear and bright future of where this artist is heading.
