Bottoms Up & Double My Dosage

Not going to lie, it’s hard to keep up with the amount of releases this week has had. LA Riots, Nom De Strip, Kid Kaio, Shortstuff, Edu K, Mightyfools, Sharkslayer to name a few. My iTunes has never looked so good and it looks like next week is set to be another big week, starting with a brand new release from Kill Em All in the shape of Hidden Cat’s ‘Get With It’ EP, who we interviewed a couple of months back if it slipped your mind. Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, Hidden Cat has already had a mammoth amount of support from the likes of Erol Alkan, Jaymo & Andy George, Mumdance, Hey Today!, Toddla T and Matt Walsh and all of this seems to be just the beginning of things to come. Not bad at all for guy living in a place with very little EDM culture. Just goes to show that good music will shine through from all corners of the world! The EP which is out on the 24th of August comes with 3 remixes from NT89, Gianpaolo Dieli (also known as Savile) and Photonz, each taking the track in very different territories, meaning all are needed in your collection. We’ve got the NT89 remix and a remix of Kym Brown by the man himself  to share with you music hungry readers.

HIDDEN CAT – GET WITH IT (NT89 REMIX) (320kbps)

KYM BROWN – ALMOST HAPPY (HIDDEN CAT REMIX) (320kbps)

  1. good overview man. I’ve been giving this EP some major play. Raleigh may not be a pioneer of electronic music, but the triangle area itself is a breeding ground for electronic music and djs. Hopscotch and Signal fest are just 2 of the large events being hosted on an annual basis, which brings in names from around the globes.

    1. Its funny as I actually cheekily stole the line “living in a place with little EDM culture’ from Hidden Cat himself but I see where your getting at and I didn’t mean it any demeaning way! Will have to look into those Festivals! Cheers for the heads up.

      1. haha, sorry I was anon on that one. As far as *real* culture (towns like Detroit, Chicago etc) R town is lacking. Will this be the case 10 years from now? who knows. From a producer standpoint, the Triangle is lacking in history for sure.
