Guys before I start writing about some tunes all I want to say is protect your hearing and protect it good. Woke up from a night out this morning not being able to hear hardly anything from my left ear and I seriously thought I’d damaged my hearing in that ear for good. Turns out all I have is an ear infection and some blocked wax in there but its better to be safe than sorry . Not being to hear out my left ear today though has made me think and put me in that position where I’ve realised that I seriously take my hearing for granted and I’ve decided I’m going to start taking more care for my ears instead of blasting them with loud music 24/7. SO TAKE NOTE PEOPLE!

So anyway I did a small post on the young London dubstep/2step producer Graphics mid last year who for those who don’t remember can check out the post here and cop a mix and a remix he did of the Foals. Things have come full circle for the lad and he’s got a string of releases lined up on a number of labels with his first EP titled ‘I Need You’ having recently been released. The EP is only two tracks with no remixes but when the tunes are good thats all you really need. First is the title track of the EP aptly named “I Need You” a slow burning emotionally fuelled dubstep track which I can imagine my herb friend saying ” This would be the shit when stoned”. The second track which you can stream below is in similar vein to the first track but with a more enhanced drum pattern that I can see working wonders in a dance floor environment. One for the club and one for the walk home. He also kindly gave out a free track on Friday so be sure to download that below! It may not appeal to everyone at first with the squeaky synths, but let this one roll out. Buy the EP here and listen to more of his stuff over on his soundcloud.
