What can you tell us about the mix you’ve recorded for us?

“I wanted to record a mix that interlaces nostalgia with the future, and imagining a better world. Before my dance floor initiation I mostly listened to music in solitude—UK dubstep, electronica, post dubstep, and hip hop. A friend showed me Burial and Digital Mystikz when I was 15 and I was hooked. I continued to explore different sounds like Flying Lotus and SBTRKT and started going to shows. I think of this time in adolescence as my gateway to dance music. Many of the tracks in this mix are newer but remind me of those sounds, and how the things we love can come full circle.”
